If a senior falls and receives help within the first hour, there is a 90% chance that person will return home. However, if a fallen senior doesn't receive help within 6 hours, there is a 90% chance that senior will require a nursing home admission.

2 nights ago I was home watching American Idol when there was a knock at my door. I love having visitors and I was excited to see who was here to see me. One of the gangsters hit me in the face knocking me out cold. I woke up with a fireman holding smelling salts under my nose. The police were there and the ambulance people were just showing up. All this help was there because the man on the other end of the speaker, the man from your central station took immediate action and dispatched the police.
I have tremors when I think “what if I didn’t have your response service”, all the terrible things that could have happened. I’m lucky that I only suffered a broken nose, it actually looks better, and I’m delighted to tell you and my Cardiologist that I didn’t have a heart attack! That’s amazing with my history.
